Aircel connection
1.Connect your mobile to PC using a datacable.Select default mode.
2.Goto system->Preference->Network connections
3.New Mobile Broadband Connection window appears.You can see your device name in the new window
4.Follow the on-screen instructions and set your Selected plan APN(access point name) as “aircelgprs”.
5.click network connection icon seen in the notification area of gnome panel and select “aircel connection”.you can disconnect the connection there itself.
Docomo Connection
1.Follow the steps above mentioned but set your Selected plan APN(access point name) as “TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET”

what i did was little different i simply connected my nokia 3110c to pc with ubuntu installed through a data cable…………..
i find great happiness seeing i can access net .. with out any ……….config modification….

is it possible to access directly internet from gsm with a pc………….i mean with out mobile…..???????????/
